Responsibility

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) operations, including cash handling, processing payments, and issuing receipts accurately.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards to ensure products are attractively displayed.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and rotate stock to prevent expired items from reaching the sales floor.
  • Handle product inquiries and provide recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures in accordance with company policy.
  • Uphold security protocols to minimize stock loss and ensure a safe store environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least a SPM certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Malay and English.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and computer systems is preferred.
