Responsibility
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance the shopping experience.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) operations, including cash handling, processing payments, and issuing receipts accurately.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards to ensure products are attractively displayed.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and rotate stock to prevent expired items from reaching the sales floor.
- Handle product inquiries and provide recommendations based on customer needs.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Uphold security protocols to minimize stock loss and ensure a safe store environment for both staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Possess at least a SPM certification or equivalent.
- Ability to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Malay and English.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and computer systems is preferred.
