Responsibility
- Execute end-to-end shipment processes for sea and air freight, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance and compliance with local/ international regulations.
- Liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies and optimize logistics workflows.
- Monitor shipment statuses and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce shipping costs.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and environmental standards in all shipping activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of sea/air freight procedures, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for operational requirements.
