Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and processing of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of shipments.
- Maintain organized records of inventory, shipments, and delivery schedules using digital or manual systems.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to track shipments and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners) to assist with loading and unloading goods.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or supply needs to the logistics manager.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure and efficient workspace.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations (entry-level candidates with relevant training may be considered).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to interact with local and international stakeholders.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages (up to 20-25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving logistical challenges.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain are a plus.
