Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth transportation and clearance of goods.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or issues with proactive problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, costs, and performance metrics.
- Assist in negotiating freight rates and service agreements with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Familiarity with incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to handle logistics challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team.
