Responsibility
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
- Process and update system transactions for shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with customs and regulatory authorities to secure necessary permits and clearances for international shipments.
- Manage and optimize daily delivery schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, production) and external partners (e.g., freight forwarders, carriers) to resolve shipping-related issues.
- Track shipments and provide real-time updates to stakeholders on delivery statuses and potential delays.
- Maintain organized records of all shipping activities, including documentation, costs, and delivery confirmations.
- Assist in inventory management by reconciling shipped goods with warehouse records.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or electronics industry.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or logistics software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and shipping cost calculations is advantageous.
