Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Ship Administration & Management Service (SAMS) and Assist Tug services.
- Supervise and lead a team of shipper representatives, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle and resolve any operational issues or disputes that may arise during shipping activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, challenges, and improvements.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or maritime operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, shipping procedures, and logistical operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and drive operational excellence.
- Proficiency in using logistics and shipping management software.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
