Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate all production activities during assigned shifts to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production operators, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor production metrics, including efficiency, yield, and downtime, and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health/safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate with maintenance and logistics teams to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth workflow.
- Prepare shift reports, document production data, and communicate key updates to management and cross-functional teams.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven track record of managing shift operations, including team leadership, production scheduling, and quality control.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards) and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency in using ERP systems, MES software, or production monitoring tools is a plus.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
