SPX Express (Shopee Express) is the fast-growing logistics arm of Shopee, dedicated to providing reliable, rapid, and cost-effective delivery services to our sellers and buyers across the region. The Operations team lies at the core of our e-commerce fulfillment ecosystem, managing the end-to-end journey of millions of packages daily.
As an Operations Shift Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving warehouse, hub, and sorting center efficiency. You will lead a dynamic, fast-paced shift team, overseeing inbound processing, accurate sorting, and timely outbound dispatch. Responsibility
- Supervise end-to-end shift operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient inbound sorting, staging, and outbound parcel processing.
- Manage and motivate a large team of shift supervisors, warehouse operators, and riders to achieve daily throughput and SLA targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time, identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing immediate corrective actions.
- Enforce strict adherence to warehouse safety protocols, 5S standards, and company operational policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including line haul fleet management and customer service, to resolve delivery and sorting discrepancies.
- Generate comprehensive shift performance reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse, fulfillment center, or express logistics environment.
- Strong leadership capability with a proven track record of managing and developing diverse, high-volume shift teams.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and operational data analysis using MS Excel.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support 24/7 operations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
