Britz Networks is seeking an efficient, detail-oriented Logistic Executive / Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Melaka Raya, Melaka. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing our export shipping operations, ensuring that goods move seamlessly from our facility to international destinations.
As a Shipping Coordinator, you will act as the key liaison between freight forwarders, carriers, customs agents, and internal departments. Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
- Prepare, review, and process complete sets of shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and hauliers to obtain competitive freight rates and secure vessel bookings.
- Track and monitor shipment statuses, proactively resolving any delays or customs clearance issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to coordinate loading schedules and optimize container space.
- Maintain accurate logs, files, and database records of all shipping activities for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Handle customer and vendor inquiries regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and shipping documents professionally.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, export shipping, or freight forwarding.
- In-depth knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures, and international Incoterms.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin proficiency is a plus to coordinate with regional partners).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and exposure to ERP/logistics software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capability to work under tight deadlines.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Melaka Raya, Melaka.
