Join Coherent as a Shift IT Support Analyst in our dynamic plant operations team in Bali, Indonesia. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless IT infrastructure, software, and hardware support to maintain uninterrupted production and operational efficiency.
As a key member of our IT team, you will provide on-site and remote technical assistance, troubleshoot system issues, and implement solutions to enhance performance. Your expertise will directly contribute to minimizing downtime and optimizing plant productivity.

Responsibility
- Provide 24/7 on-site and remote IT support for plant software, hardware, and network systems during assigned shifts.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to industrial control systems, ERP software, and production equipment interfaces.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential risks, and implement proactive maintenance to prevent disruptions.
- Install, configure, and upgrade IT infrastructure components, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and integrate new technologies in the plant environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Assist in cybersecurity measures, including patch management, access control, and vulnerability assessments.
- Train end-users on IT systems and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and industrial IT protocols.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and industrial automation software is a plus.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
