Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and coordinate with external contractors for repairs when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards at all times.
- Collaborate with operations teams to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and incident reports.
- Assist in the planning and execution of facility upgrades, renovations, and new installations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and other stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in shift-based engineering roles, preferably in facilities management or operations.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certifications in facilities management (e.g., CFM, FMP) or relevant technical training are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
