Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the stewarding team to maintain exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to ensure timely delivery of clean utensils, equipment, and serviceware
- Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of dishwashing machines and other stewarding equipment
- Implement and monitor inventory control systems for china, glassware, and silverware
- Train and develop team members on proper handling, cleaning, and storage procedures
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Manage waste disposal and recycling programs in accordance with sustainability policies
- Prepare reports on departmental performance and equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in stewarding or similar role within luxury hospitality
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Strong knowledge of hygiene standards and sanitation regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying schedules
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Certification in food safety/hygiene is highly desirable
