Responsibility
- Provide attentive and courteous service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming and pleasant dining experience.
- Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders, addressing any special requests or dietary preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas, including table arrangements and decor.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Follow cash handling and POS system procedures with accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or food service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues as needed.
- Attention to detail, especially in maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling is a plus.
