Responsibility
- Monitor designated swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a secure environment.
- Perform emergency rescues and administer first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and report any hazards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards around the pool area.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay updated on lifesaving techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Valid lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross, ILS, or equivalent).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Excellent observational and decision-making abilities.
- Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
