Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new servers and network devices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Server Operations Engineer or similar role in a data center environment.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with network protocols, firewall configurations, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
