Responsibility
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve order fulfillment speed.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock movements and generate real-time reports.
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to uphold safety standards, productivity targets, and quality control measures.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to prevent discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with procurement and distribution teams to streamline supply chain processes and reduce lead times.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for storage, handling, and transportation of goods.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse coordination, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Proven ability to manage teams and operate in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (IMS/WMS) and ERP software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards) and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
