Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize utility systems (water, electricity, gas, sewage) for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations to ensure project viability and compliance.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of utility infrastructure, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to align utility plans with regulatory requirements and project timelines.
- Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective measures to enhance reliability and sustainability.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for utility projects.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for utility failures or disruptions, providing rapid and effective solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in utility engineering, with a proven track record in infrastructure projects.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, PMP, or LEED) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of utility system design, hydrology, electrical distribution, and waste management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, or other engineering software for modeling and analysis.
- Strong understanding of local and international regulations (e.g., SNI, ISO, or AS/NZS standards).
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
