Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize Trim & Form tooling solutions to enhance semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for tooling-related issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance) to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on tooling equipment to ensure operational reliability.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tooling setup, calibration, and maintenance.
- Evaluate new tooling technologies and recommend upgrades to enhance performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in tooling management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in tooling engineering, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in Trim & Form tooling, precision machining, and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and tooling design principles.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality standards is advantageous.
