Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment (ATE) for semiconductor devices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to define test specifications and improve test coverage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to test equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
- Develop and implement test scripts, software, and firmware to automate testing processes and enhance accuracy.
- Conduct performance analysis and validation of test equipment, providing data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on test equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in semiconductor testing, proposing innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all test equipment and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test equipment development, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in LabVIEW, C/C++, Python, or other programming languages used for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with ATE systems (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest, or custom-built solutions) and test fixture design.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device testing, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical data.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a track record of collaborating across departments.
- Familiarity with ISO, JEDEC, or AEC-Q standards is a plus.
