Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and DevOps) to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Leverage AI and machine learning to optimize test cases, predict defects, and improve test efficiency.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and work with developers to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
- Stay updated with emerging testing technologies and best practices to enhance QA processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficient in test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar) and scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in CI/CD environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in testing (e.g., test case generation, defect prediction) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team.
- Experience with performance, security, and API testing is highly desirable.
