Responsibility
- Lead NPI (New Product Introduction) testing processes to validate product functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Develop, execute, and document comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports for electronics assemblies.
- Identify, debug, and resolve product failures using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Quality) to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Optimize test automation scripts and methodologies to reduce cycle time and enhance accuracy.
- Analyze test data to identify trends, root causes, and process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IPC, ISO, UL) and customer-specific requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on testing best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test engineering, quality assurance, or NPI within EMS or electronics manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, ATE systems).
- Hands-on experience with debugging hardware/software issues in PCBAs or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (LabVIEW, Python, C++, or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing test standards (IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
