Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for electronic, software, and mechanical systems.
- Perform functional, regression, stress, and performance testing to validate system integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to analyze test results, recommend improvements, and ensure design for testability (DFT).
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage in repetitive testing scenarios.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and propose corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure all testing activities adhere to industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, IEEE) and internal quality management systems.
- Prepare detailed test reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in testing electronic, software, or mechanical systems, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies (black-box, white-box, integration, system testing) and tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Selenium, Postman).
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, C/C++, or Java) for test automation.
- Experience with hardware testing tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters) and software debugging tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Certifications in ISTQB, CMMI, or Six Sigma are highly advantageous.
