Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for rail infrastructure projects.
- Monitor and document quality assurance activities, including material testing, inspections, and audits.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality control findings, non-conformities, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all project materials and construction processes adhere to local regulations and international quality standards.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss quality control measures and project progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Material Engineering, or a related field.
- Accreditation as a Material Engineer (Level 1 or 2) is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in rail or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of material testing methods, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
