Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, and project managers) to identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate system requirements and business processes.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Automate test cases using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG) to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Mentor junior test analysts and provide guidance on best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement in processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Proven experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software applications.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, Agile Testing, or similar are a plus.
