Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade telecommunication systems, including VoIP, unified communications, and wireless networks to support hospital operations.
- Ensure 24/7 reliability and security of telecom infrastructure, with proactive monitoring and rapid incident resolution.
- Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to assess telecom needs and implement scalable solutions for hospitals, clinics, and remote locations.
- Optimize network performance for high-bandwidth applications (e.g., telemedicine, EHR systems, and IoT medical devices).
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based or hybrid telecom platforms, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks and align with cybersecurity best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and training to end-users and junior engineers on telecom systems and protocols.
- Stay ahead of industry trends (e.g., 5G, SD-WAN) and recommend innovations to enhance system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom engineering, with a focus on healthcare or enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in Cisco, Avaya, or Microsoft Teams VoIP solutions, SIP protocols, and network troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of network security (firewalls, VPNs, encryption) and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Experience with cloud telephony platforms (e.g., AWS Connect, Azure Voice) and hybrid infrastructure.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or ITIL are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a mission-critical environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
