Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cybersecurity incidents.
- Conduct in-depth forensic analysis of digital evidence to identify the root cause of security breaches and incidents.
- Develop and implement incident response strategies, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance threat intelligence and improve incident response capabilities.
- Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and incident response protocols.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of forensic tools, methodologies, and documentation to support investigations.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively adapt security measures.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Volatility, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience with malware analysis, reverse engineering, and threat hunting.
- Certifications such as GCFA, GCIH, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
