Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and address potential issues before they impact guest experiences.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults in hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or systems as part of property upgrades.
- Uphold Marriott’s safety and compliance standards, adhering to local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
