Responsibility
- Research, write, and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, release notes, and FAQs.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to gather and validate technical information.
- Develop multimedia content (e.g., tutorials, videos) to complement written materials.
- Ensure all content adheres to style guides, brand voice, and SEO best practices for maximum discoverability.
- Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product changes and new features.
- Conduct user feedback analysis to identify gaps in documentation and improve clarity.
- Optimize content for accessibility and localization to support global audiences.
- Use content management systems (CMS) and tools like MadCap Flare, Confluence, or Markdown.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in the IT, software, or hardware industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing technical writing samples (e.g., API docs, user guides, knowledge bases).
- Proficiency in technical writing tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Markdown, Git).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword optimization for technical content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
