Responsibility
- Define and prioritize product backlog items, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to create clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria for AI-assisted tools.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists to drive product vision and execution.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize product features and enhance user experience.
- Monitor industry trends in AI and edtech to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Champion best practices in product ownership, including user story refinement and backlog grooming.
- Measure and report on product performance, iterating based on feedback and KPIs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or similar role, with a focus on AI, SaaS, or edtech products.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical products in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in product development.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, UX designers, and data scientists.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification in Scrum, SAFe, or Product Ownership (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) is a plus.
