Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians to ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all facility equipment.
- Oversee the diagnosis, repair, and replacement of medical and non-medical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare facility regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility upgrades and expansion projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in preventive maintenance planning, equipment troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare facility regulations, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Certifications in facility management, electrical safety, or HVAC systems are a plus.
