Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations across APAC markets.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize financial efficiency and minimize risks.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning, transfer pricing, and other tax-related matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tax strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the organization.
- Represent the company in tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on APAC markets.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in managing tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
