Responsibility
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing adjusting entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation for external and internal audits.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an Accounts Assistant or similar position.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
