Responsibility
- Lead and manage tax dispute cases, including negotiations with tax authorities, appeals, and litigation support.
- Provide expert tax advisory services to clients on matters such as transfer pricing, VAT, corporate tax, and international taxation.
- Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings, and assess their impact on clients’ operations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities, ensure compliance, and optimize financial outcomes.
- Prepare and review tax returns, objections, and other regulatory filings with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal and finance, to deliver integrated solutions for complex tax issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and tailored advice.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the firm.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax consulting, with a focus on dispute resolution and tax controversy.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and dispute resolution procedures.
- Proven track record of successfully managing tax audits, objections, and appeals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with the ability to interpret complex tax issues.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to client confidentiality.
