Responsibility
- Oversee the General Ledger (GL) accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and automate repetitive tasks.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., AP, AR, Tax) to ensure seamless financial operations and data integrity.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions, bank statements, and other critical accounts.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and resolving discrepancies.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, proposing actionable insights to drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting standards (Indonesian regulations preferred).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings clearly.
- Proven track record of process optimization and automation in finance operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
