Responsibility
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international tax laws.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure timely tax filings.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.
- Provide tax advisory services to internal stakeholders and support financial planning initiatives.
- Conduct tax audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues with tax authorities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax-related disclosures.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations, with experience in international tax matters being an advantage.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a bonus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
