Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end tax compliance process for the Airspeed Group, including preparation, review, and submission of tax returns (VAT, income tax, withholding tax, etc.) in accordance with Indonesian and international regulations.
- Monitor and ensure timely compliance with all tax filing deadlines, payments, and reporting requirements to avoid penalties and optimize cash flow.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and strategies for tax optimization while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) to gather necessary data, resolve tax-related inquiries, and implement process improvements.
- Prepare and present tax reports, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and communicate their impact to stakeholders.
- Assist in tax audits, investigations, and disputes by coordinating with external advisors and providing accurate documentation.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of tax policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tax compliance, tax accounting, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax).
- Experience working with multinational corporations or large-scale enterprises is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability.
