Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (corporate, individual, VAT, etc.) in compliance with Indonesian and international tax laws.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clientsâ financial positions.
- Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on regulatory changes affecting clients.
- Collaborate with auditors, legal teams, and financial advisors to ensure seamless tax reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and risks.
- Advise clients on tax implications of business decisions, mergers, and investments.
- Maintain organized tax documentation and records for audits and reviews.
- Represent the company or clients in discussions with tax authorities when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a multinational or advisory firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and familiarity with international tax treaties.
- Proficient in tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local platforms) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a stable internet connection.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
