Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (corporate, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) in compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s financial position.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide tax-related advice.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and consultants to resolve tax-related inquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise management on their implications.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements for financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Brevet A/B/C) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 3 years of experience in a Public Accounting Firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local tax software) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is highly advantageous.
