Responsibility
- Provide daily IT infrastructure and operations support, including systems software, networks, servers, and end-user terminals via the IT Helpdesk.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions to meet business needs.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems and applications.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance security and compliance.
- Manage and maintain virtualization platforms, cloud services, and on-premise infrastructure.
- Conduct regular system audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and end-users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in managing servers, networks, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with IT security best practices, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
