Responsibility
- Design, implement, and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and solutions to protect sensitive data across the organization.
- Conduct forensic analysis and troubleshooting to identify, investigate, and mitigate data leakage incidents and security breaches.
- Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) to ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
- Monitor and analyze DLP alerts, providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance security posture.
- Develop and maintain documentation for DLP processes, incident reports, and security policies.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate DLP solutions with existing security frameworks and IT infrastructure.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and stakeholders on best practices for data protection and cybersecurity.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, industry trends, and advancements in DLP technologies to continuously improve our defence strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) or related domains.
- Proven expertise in DLP tools (e.g., Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint) and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis.
- Experience collaborating with DPOs, CSIRTs, and other stakeholders to align security policies with business objectives.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
