Responsibility
- Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance organizational security.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure configuration and maintenance of systems and applications.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Assist in the development and testing of disaster recovery and incident response plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and firewalls.
- Familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and ethical hacking techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey security risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar are a plus.
