Responsibility
- Administer, optimize, and troubleshoot Shopify stores, ensuring high performance, uptime, and seamless user experiences.
- Manage and maintain websites, IT systems, and digital infrastructure, including servers, databases, and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or similar).
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, SSL certificates, and data encryption, to protect against threats.
- Collaborate with development and marketing teams to integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins for enhanced functionality.
- Conduct regular performance audits and optimize website speed, SEO, and scalability for growing traffic demands.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
- Develop and document IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in e-commerce, web development, and IT systems administration.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, web development, or e-commerce platform management (Shopify experience is a must).
- Proven expertise in Shopify administration, including theme customization, app integrations, and liquid coding.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) and content management systems (WordPress, Magento, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and server management (Linux/Windows).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, including SSL, firewalls, and vulnerability assessments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work remotely in a global team.
- Certifications in Shopify, AWS, Google Cloud, or IT security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
