Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain advanced DLP policies for email, web, and endpoint systems aligned with organizational security frameworks.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of DLP configurations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DLP solutions with SIEM, IAM, and other security tools.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on DLP best practices and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, investigating potential data breaches and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead incident response efforts related to data leakage, including forensic analysis and reporting.
- Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and regulatory changes (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) to ensure continuous policy relevance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of Synapxe's cybersecurity roadmap.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years specializing in DLP solutions (e.g., Symantec, McAfee, Forcepoint).
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing DLP policies for enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption standards, and data classification frameworks.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific DLP credentials are highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud-based DLP solutions (e.g., Microsoft Purview, AWS Macie) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
