Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
- Architect and optimize corporate core systems (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, email, and collaboration tools) to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls, firewalls, and endpoint protection, to safeguard corporate data.
- Automate system provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multi-site environments, providing root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to integrate on-premise systems with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance system efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Document system configurations, policies, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, AWS/Azure Certified) are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or IT Infrastructure Specialist in a corporate environment.
- Hands-on expertise with Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, SD-WAN) and enterprise-grade hardware (Cisco, Juniper, HPE).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Ansible) for task automation and system management.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, including vulnerability management, patching, and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, global environment.
