Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end deployment of aerospace and defense systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Design, configure, and optimize system architectures to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and network teams to integrate systems seamlessly across diverse environments.
- Develop and maintain deployment scripts, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues, providing root cause analysis and preventive solutions.
- Document deployment procedures, system configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure team success.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in deployment strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in system deployment, configuration, and integration, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
- Proven expertise in Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell), and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with networking protocols, security standards, and compliance frameworks (ITAR, ISO 27001).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
