Responsibility
- Analyze and document product specifications, business rules, and rate tables to ensure alignment with technical and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with actuarial, pricing, and product teams to translate complex calculations into actionable system designs.
- Develop and maintain detailed system workflows, data models, and process maps to optimize delivery pipelines.
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in existing systems, proposing scalable, cost-effective solutions.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and success metrics.
- Bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clarity and consensus on project deliverables.
- Monitor system performance post-implementation, iterating based on user feedback and KPIs.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT/software development.
- Proven expertise in requirements analysis, system design, and process modeling (UML, BPMN, or similar).
- Strong understanding of SQL, databases, and API integrations to interpret and manipulate data effectively.
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills with a data-driven approach.
- Superb communication and stakeholder management abilities to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with insurance, fintech, or financial services (preferred but not mandatory).
