Responsibility
- Design and analyze structural steel components, connections, and systems using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or STAAD.Pro).
- Develop detailed fabrication and erection drawings, ensuring compliance with AISC, Eurocode, or local Indonesian standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate structural steel solutions into overall project designs.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during the construction phase to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Perform load calculations, stress analysis, and material selection to optimize structural performance and cost-efficiency.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM) for steel structures.
- Mentor junior engineers and draftsmen, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
- Stay updated with advancements in steel construction technologies, sustainable materials, and seismic design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel design and engineering, preferably in high-rise or large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000).
- Strong knowledge of international codes (AISC, Eurocode) and Indonesian construction regulations (e.g., SNI).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with stakeholders and clients.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or tropical climates is an advantage.
