Responsibility
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for mechanical components and systems using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Develop structural detailing drawings with precise dimensions, annotations, and material specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- Review and validate designs for compliance with safety, regulatory, and client standards.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and performance.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOM) and assembly instructions.
- Troubleshoot design issues and propose innovative solutions to enhance product functionality.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio showcasing CAD proficiency.
- Expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) and structural detailing.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
