Responsibility
- Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings for buildings and infrastructure projects using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or SAP2000).
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure compliance with Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international standards (e.g., ACI, AISC).
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to integrate structural solutions into cohesive project designs.
- Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate structural integrity and recommend improvements or reinforcements.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers, providing guidance on best practices and innovative techniques.
- Stay updated on emerging materials, technologies, and sustainable design trends in civil engineering.
- Ensure project deliverables meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design for buildings, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations (SNI) and international codes (e.g., Eurocode, ACI).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for client and team collaboration.
- PE (Professional Engineer) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience working in tropical climates or seismic zones is highly desirable.
