Responsibility
- Develop detailed structural designs and drawings for advanced facilities, ensuring compliance with international codes (e.g., AISC, Eurocode, or local Indonesian standards).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate structural solutions into overall project plans.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations using software like ETABS, SAP2000, or Revit Structure to optimize designs for safety and cost-efficiency.
- Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication details, and construction methodologies to ensure alignment with design intent.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare and present technical reports, specifications, and proposals for clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior designers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in sustainable design, seismic resilience, and modular construction to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in structural design, preferably in advanced facilities, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools (ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or Tekla).
- Strong knowledge of international design codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocode) and familiarity with Indonesian SNI standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise with global teams and clients.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is highly desirable.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.
